Tetiana Isaieva is a steadfast advocate for innovation and collaboration, with over 20 years of experience as an international leader in Life Sciences. As the Head of Compliance at Roche, she continuously shapes the future of healthcare through policy advancements and digital transformations. Tetiana’s extensive expertise in governance, ethics, and risk intelligence empowers her to drive global initiatives that enhance access to healthcare across multiple countries and continents.

With her recent achievement of an Executive Diploma in Diplomacy, Negotiation, and Policy, we had the pleasure of discussing her learning journey at the Institute and how it complements her visionary leadership in this ever-evolving field.

What motivated you to choose the Executive Diploma in Diplomacy, Negotiation, and Policy, considering your extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry?

I am driven by a profound curiosity about discovering new trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of healthcare and life sciences.

I have been exploring executive education for a while, looking for a way to expand my horizons, stimulate thinking, diversify my knowledge, and enrich my connections. So here I am, taking the DNP Executive Diploma as the best fit.

What are the most valuable takeaways from the programme that have enriched your professional and personal growth?

The programme is absolutely outstanding and well-balanced in topics, insights, practices, and exchanges. Let me mention just a few of those.

I have realised how valuable insights are on the interconnection of global health challenges, the importance of healthcare ecosystem collaborative efforts in addressing resource distribution and healthcare accessibility, and the critical role of AI in fostering innovations and improving patient outcomes and experiences.

It was revealing to learn about policy-making and how to influence various stakeholders, which is essential for effective governance and regulations.

Strategic foresight for anticipating future trends and challenges, including responses and innovative solutions, was a completely mind-blowing experience.

Diplomacy, communication, and negotiations are other instrumental and notable areas where I gained many lessons, ideas, and practices as a leader, business partner, representative, and negotiator.

How have you applied the skills and insights gained from the programme, and how do you see it benefiting your day-to-day work?

I will continue to explore the art of the possible, strive to influence policy-making as a policy entrepreneur and master the craft of building bridges despite adversity in negotiations.

Emerging technologies like AI are another area of interest for me, and I am curious to follow up on opportunities for learning, exchange, and impact.

I want to express my appreciation to the diverse, highly professional, and passionate team of the Geneva Graduate Institute Executive Education for this very special and valuable experience!
